Christmas Morning Tea
There was no white Christmas in Beijing, however it was an early white Christmas at the ANZA Christmas Morning Tea. While the snow was falling the Christmas spirit was flowing and members and guests were treated to a visit by Santa in the warmth of Allison’s home.
November 2011 – Morning Tea
It may have been a wet and dreary day in Beijing, but it was a cosy and cheery morning in Deidre’s stunning downtown apartment. Thank you Dee for hosting a wonderful morning tea.
ANZA 2011 Melbourne Cup Charity Lunch
Due to the generorsity of ANZA members and guests and the continued support of ANZA’s wonderful sponsors the 2011 Melbourne Cup Charity Lunch was a sensational day and a huge success.
ANZA October Morning Tea – Mad Hatter’s Champagne Tea Party
ANZA members and guests enjoyed a chatty Mad Hatter’s “tea” party with Allison as our Wonderland host. Many ladies took up the fancy hat challenge, with prizes going to the maddest hats.
ANZA 90% Travel Guided Day Tour
ANZA members and friends experienced a special day out with some locals in a traditional rural village. After a scenic drive, a fascinating tour and scrumptious lunch the gloves came on, the sleeves pushed up and some hard work was done by most!!

March 2011 San Yuan Li Market Tour
A small group of ANZA members enjoyed a tour through the San Yuan Li fresh food market, with the ever so helpful guide and ANZA membership officer, Deidre Fenwick.
February 2011 Strawberries & Cream Morning Tea
Love was in the air for ANZA members at the St Valentine’s Day morning tea on 15 February. The room was a sea of crimson as members were welcomed into the home of committee member, Prisca.
October 2010 ANZA Ovarian Cancer Cupcake Morning Tea
According to Ovarian Cancer Australia, three women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer every day in Australia alone. ANZA Beijing decided to help raise awareness of this deadly disease, by holding a Cupcake morning tea at Colibri in Sanlitun North in November 2010. Dr Stephanie Teoh from Beijing International SOS Clinic gave an informative talk to ANZA members on ovarian cancer.
November 2010 ANZA Melbourne Cup Charity Luncheon
ANZA members and their friends celebrated in true Aussie style at the The Westin Beijing – where there were lots of winners and grinners – raising an incredible amount of funds for the various charities.
December 2010 ANZA Xmas Morning Tea
ANZA members enjoyed a little festive cheer at the Christmas morning tea in December 2010.
December 2010 China Little Flower
In December 2010, the ANZA Beijing committee members visited China Little Flower (CLF), a care home for sick orphaned children. ANZA donated funds raised from the 2010 Melbourne Cup Lunch to CLF to buy coal to heat the home for this winter.
